FSSAI
FSSAI/Food License
Every food operator needs to obtain FSSAI or Food License from Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. The license so obtained is to be printed on all food products being packed.
IEC CODE
Import Export Code, which is commonly abbreviated as IEC is the first registration required for the business entities who are dealing in Importing or exporting of goods and services from India. IEC is issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT). It is a passport for import and export business.
ESI
Employees State Insurance (ESI)
ESI is social scheme designed to give insurance cover to workforce in organized sector against events like death, sickness etc. All employers operating from office/other business establishments need to get registered under ESI.
SHOP AND ESTABLISHMENT ACT
Every shop, office space, or any other location from where any commercial activity is carried out need to obtain Shop Licence. This licence helps entities in establishing the identity of a particular establishment as business place. Seperate registrations are needed for each location.
